S.T.E.M. GREATNESS
I bring expertise that equips us to do great things with the Science Wing that opens March 2025. It’s exciting to potentially develop strategies that fully capitalize on this state-of-the-art center for our students and community. The development of all students in this area, elevates their ability to excel in college, career, and life. With my outreach in science, I know the potential for showcasing and engaging beyond our community. This will create opportunities on a national and global level.
MANAGING AND GROWING THE BUDGET
In concert with the rest of the board, I will ensure that we explore all options for saving, spending and earning. My background is in experiments. In other words, I value problem-solving, uncovering unknowns, critical thinking, and utilizing data to inform decisions. Utilizing my background in fundraising, and researching and obtaining available grants and state funds, I will be an asset to the Board.
A SAFE AND SUPPORTIVE SCHOOL
Nationwide, safety in schools has a heightened awareness. Protecting our students, staff and community is paramount. And as long as we have a sense of safety, we can focus on students' academic goals with peace of mind. With the efforts already taking place to provide mental and emotional support, I ensure our youth that I see and hear them.
MAKING EVERY STUDENT MATTER
I know what it is like to have the odds against you as a child. Since working my way to success, I have invested in the youth. I have a history of implementing programs and scholarships that create opportunities for students. Each of our students has greatness, excellence to fulfill, and is empowered when they know that we believe in them. My goal is to maximize their strengths and help them chart their unique path to success.
